Exhibit Open:
Entries will be on display at the Lewistown Art Center, Tuesday, January 23 through Wednesday, January 31 during Art Center hours: Tuesday – Friday 10:00 am – 5:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am – 4:00 pm.

Demonstrations and Classes:
Pre-register for all classes by January 24th by calling the Art Center 535-8278, class sizes are limited

Friday, January 26
Beginning Tatting with Cherilee Martin- 10 am (all day) upstairs at the Art Center

Saturday, January 27
Needle Felting with Jane Lund- 10 am (all day) upstairs at the Art Center
Greeting Cards with Julie Norman- 10 am to 12 noon, downstairs at the Art Center, $25 fee
Beginning Drop Spindle Spinning with Julie Norman- 1:00 pm, downstairs at the Art Center, $35 fee, there will  be spindle available for purchase if you don’t have your own

On or before Thursday, January 18 entries may be delivered to Lewistown Art Center or shipped to Marcy Foran, 120 Ridgelawn Ave. Lewistown, MT 59457.  Note – shipping is at your own risk.

Please complete General Registration Form, Section 1 & 3, and bring with you.
Under description, include a visual description of your entry (size, color, design, etc) so we can identify it easily.

Pick Up:
Items may be picked up at the Lewistown Art Center between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm Thursday, February 1 or regular Art Center hours that week. If you would like your quilt returned to you by mail (at your own risk), please include the cost of shipping with your entry form.

Fee:
No entry fee

Prizes:
First place gifts will be awarded in every class. 
One overall Best of Show will be awarded.

Sale of Items:
If any individual would like to sell items, a booth space must be rented through Montana Winter Fair Trade Show, your booth will be in the Trade Center at the Fergus County Fairgrounds.

Rules:

  1. All entered items must have been created within the past twelve months.
  2. Any item that has been knitted, crocheted, woven, needle felted, or hand spun will be accepted for entry. 
  3. The item entered must have been created by entrant.
  4. Items will be judged and then displayed for the remainder of the fair.
  5. Items for exhibit cannot be sold during the display period.

Class 1- Large Wearable Items (sweaters, vests, etc.)

Lot 1- Knitted, Crocheted
Lot 2- Hand Woven
Lot 3- Tatted, Needle Point, Embroidery, etc.
Lot 4- Felting
Lot 5- Refurbished

Class 2- Small Wearable Items (mittens, hats, scarves, etc.)

Lot 1- Knitted, Crocheted
Lot 2- Hand Woven
Lot 3- Tatted, Needle Point, Embroidery, etc.
Lot 4- Felting
Lot 5- Refurbished

Class 3- Large Non-Wearable Items (table cloth, afghan, coverlets, tapestries, saddle blankets etc.)

Class 8- Hand Spun Yarn- Skeins need to be 2-4 oz. in weight (Skeins must be washed)

Lot 4- Exotic- Camel, Yak, Buffalo, etc.
