Stick Horse Rodeo
Montana Winter Fair
January 27-30, 2022
Lewistown, Montana

Wanted: Kids stick horse rodeo racers! The stick horse rodeo will be back at the 75th Montana Winter Fair. All children ages 3 to 8 are encouraged to join the fun on Saturday, January 25, in the heated livestock pavilion sale ring at the Fergus County Fairgrounds.
Registration is at 10:00 am and the rodeo begins at 11:00 am. It’s free to participate, stick horses are provided (or bring your own!), and prizes & ribbons are awarded to all competitors.
Produced by the Judith Basin Chapter of the Back Country Horsemen, the stick horse rodeo continues to be a crowd favorite, for both the kiddos participating and the spectators watching the entertainment unfold.
With three stick horse events – roping, barrel racing, and steer wrestling – there is enjoyment to be had by all young cowboys and cowgirls.
